Automated link exchange scripts work poorly
There are many websites that use automated link exchange scripts for their link exchange campaign.
I’m not talking about link crawler or link farm, but those scripts that help in managing link exchange request by verifying reciprocal links and automatically add links after the reciprocal location is identified and verified.
Sounds like a great tool but problem is that the link exchanges by using scripts are said to be producing poor results for search engine and thus are less effective than hand-typed HTML links.
The fact of the above statement is yet to be 100% proven, but from personal experience it’s true, as websites that linked to me using automated software never produce any links to my website.
I have stopped exchanging links with websites that use these kind of scripts at the moment.
