Rome is not built in one day
Rome is not built in one day, nor will your webmaster success. One issue for newbie webmaster is over-hoping of success overnight, which is very unlikely.
Many of us read stories of webmaster launching new websites and got success with traffic and revenue in just a week or a month. This could happen but we probably only heard a few dozens of cases like that, most of the other hundreds and thousands are working for months and years to achieve the same result.. some never even reached it and will never do.
In fact it’s not easy for a website to achieve results without spending money for marketing. What lots of webmaster that get fast success never told is that they spent money on advertising and promoting their new website.
With some proper marketing strategy and the financial capability, they can boost a new website into fame in days and weeks, and then reap the long term rewards with various revenue resources.
Other than that some of these new website success stories are not from new webmaster. The webmaster might already have a successful profile and dozens of big websites. So a bit of mentioning and linking here and there is enough to jump-start the brand new website.
So what can a complete newbie without financial power do?
Time and passion. It will take longer time to make your website a success, but it can work. It took me 6 months to get my first Google Adsense check, and I’m getting a check every month since then. All the effort without rewards at initial stage will pay off and it’s worth it.
Just concentrate on building contents, learn some SEO techniques, learn how to promote your website, learn revenue optimization and get into action.
It will take time and effort, passion and determination to build a successful website, and to be a successful webmaster.
Never never give up.
