Google in talks to buy Youtube for $1.6bn
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Google is in talks to buy popular video-sharing website YouTube for USD1.6bn, that’s $1,600,000,000.
Neither Google nor Youtube have commented about this news.
Youtube was launched in February 2005, and has grown phenomenally into one of the most popular websites on the internet, with millions of videos viewed every day.
However there is uncertainty in Youtube future, as quite often the videos shared are violating intellectual properties or copyrights of other companies.
