Blogger sued for copyrights violation
A famous Hollywood gossip blog, PerezHilton.com is being sued by 7 top photo agencies for violating the copyrights of their pictures. [Source]
It has been a long debate that lots of celebrities and entertainment related websites/blogs have been walking the borderline on copyrights violation, especially for photos usage.
While small blogs might go under the radar, famous bloggers like Perez that is estimated making USD100,000 a month will have to face the consequences now.
I bet there will be more lawsuits to come, as Perez is not the only A-list bloggers to blatantly stealing copyrighted contents. All this will depend on the outcome of this case.
So if you are using any thing that’s violating copyrights, pray that you don’t get too famous.
