Venturing into forum management
Just bought a Vbulletin forum script yesterday, is in the process of setting up an entertainment related forum.
I always thought that forum is a great place to leverage the power of readers and visitors; it’s very much a place like all the social networking sites these days.
I’ve seen lots of big forums around, always thought of building one myself.
I’m already running a decent entertainment blog, so channelling the blog visitors to the forum will provide enough visitors and buzz to kick start the forum.
I’ll plan for some contest as well to attract more participation, as well as buying advertisement and trying for press release to build traffic.
In terms of money spent this could be the largest single project that I’ve ever launched, will see how it turns out in a couple of months.
